Ms Drummond’s role as DFS (Financial Services) involves all aspects of the government’s activity in the support and development of the financial services sector. She assumed her post on 1 November 2004.
Prior to being appointed to her current post, Ms Drummond was Assistant Financial Secretary with responsibility for financial services, a position she assumed in 1996.
Ms Drummond holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in English Literature from Queen’s University in Canada; a Master of Science degree (with distinction) in Human Resource Development from the University of Manchester in the UK and an LLB (Hons.) degree from the Cayman Islands Law School/University of Liverpool in the UK.
